We are suckers for ANY love story so will happily organise and conduct official wedding ceremonies, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies. Unfortunately, at this time, Australian Law does not legally recognise same sex marriage. However, to us, love is love, and we would overwhelmingly welcome you to come and declare your commitment to your special someone in front of your nearest and dearest.
Is it a legal wedding?
Yes, it is! Our celebrant, Lesley Gasmier, from WA Wedding Celebrant, will prepare, print and lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form, conduct a legal marriage ceremony, present you with your Marriage Certificate and submit the registration of your marriage with the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Therefore, you don't need to do a thing!
How long before the date can we book?
The Australian Marriage Act 1961 states that your NOIM form must be submitted for acceptance no later than 1 month prior to the date of your wedding. Thus, your booking must be locked in just prior to this. For Vow Renewal and Commitment Ceremonies this time frame is even shorter as there is no legal paperwork that needs submission.
Do we all get married at the same time?
Vegas style??!!! No, definitely not! For your entire 1.5hrs with us, you have our undivided attention and aspects personalised to truly reflect who you are as a couple.
Will my wedding look like everyone else's wedding?
The set up of the wedding remains the same for the day, however, we add personal touches to this set up, your bouquet and buttonhole will be personalised to your style and you are welcome to add elements to your time with us that are important to you.
What is the benefit of booking a "Set Date Wedding"?
In a nutshell, it's the price. By offering only 4 places across the space of one day allows you to have a stunning, personalised and complete wedding ceremony and celebration WITHOUT the usual hefty price tag. This leaves more coins in your pocket for life's necessities or life's pleasures!
What is your Refund Policy? - we now can't make it.
In order to secure your time and date with us, a non-refundable Booking Fee is required. Unfortunately, should you need to cancel your Iconic Pop Up Wedding, there is no refund on the payments made unless a replacement couple can be found for the date of your agreed Iconic Pop Up Wedding.
